Filter Table (Excel in Webi) : Format does not not apply , Toolbar is not displayed

Symptom

  • Need4Viz Filter table is not displayed as expected (When applying a format or adding a Toolbar for example):

Reason and Prerequisites

Environment:

  • SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform : all versions
  • Need4Viz : all versions

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. In a Webi report, configure a new Need4Viz Filter Table
  2. Validate the chart
  3. The filter table is displayed but header is empty and no formatting applied

Cause:

  • To render correctly, most of the Need4Viz charts need a recent browser
  • Same component in a supported browser:

Solution

  • Use a supported browser as it is mentionned in the Limitations & known issues : "Due to it's older technology, Internet Explorer is not supported for our charts, we recommand Chrome, Edge or Firefox to get the best renderer."
