Symptom

• When creating a custom Webi palette in a N4V component, the cursor is hanging indefinitely

Environment

• SAPBI 4.2
• Need4Viz : all version

Reason and Prerequisites

Steps To Reproduce:

To create a custom Webi palette of color :

1. Insert in a Webi report a N4V component (for instance a Variable Pie) and change the default Webi palette to "Custom"
2. Click on "new", the cursor is hanging indefinitely 
3. Press Escape to quit the hanging mode

Cause:

This behaviour is caused by a defect in Webi.

Workaround:

To create a custom palette, you must select an existing one before clicking on "New". For instance, select the "Belize" palette then click on "New" :
